I am sure right now you’re feeling very anxious and alert with the environment you’re in. You’re wondering when will your next panic attack be.

How to recover from panic attacks at such moments like this?

As a “veteran” of panic attacks, I can tell you that it is such thoughts that are causing you to feel like this.
Yes, you’ve read it right. If you do not shake off such thoughts like “Oh no, my panic attack is coming…” or “when will the next panic attack occur?”, you are very likely to HAVE one later. Your mind summons your panic attack.

If you truly want to get over it, get your mind busy with something else.
The reason why the Distraction Technique worked so well is because you STOP thinking about your panic attacks.
Unfortunately, some times it is hard to use the Distraction Technique because your symptoms are way too uncomfortable to make you do it.

Times like this, you can resort to other techniques. You can get more effective techniques in this site: Tips for Panic Attacks
So believe me… next time if you feel a panic attack is coming or even if it’s DURING a panic attack, apply the techniques! It will definitely help you.

And I’m sure you heard of panic attack recovery books like the Panic Away Program or The Linden Method. I used to have severe panic attacks for at least 4-years and I have successfully overcome it.
I’m just like you always wondering what to do about panic attacks, and it is such thoughts says that you’re not confident to fight or overcome your panic attacks. So instead of having such thoughts, just apply the techniques and understand that panic attacks come and go and they will never hurt you in any way.
